Hi there! My name is Emil Danailov, a travel journalist and photographer from Bulgaria. Having the soul of a nomad and a degree in Literature I spent the first decade of this century as editor-in-chief of Odysseus, the most popular travel magazine in Bulgaria at the time. Since then I’ve been writing for various online and print media outlets. As a photographer I’m interested in street, portrait, everyday lifestyle and landscape, as well as adventures in the great outdoors. I share my experience in travel photography by organizing workshops and photo tours, both in Bulgaria and abroad.
You can see a small selection of my photos in the gallery below and if you want to see more, please visit the Bulgarian language version of the website, where you’ll also find lots to read – as long as you aren’t intimidated by the sometimes arbitrary translations by Google. 🙂
For your convenience you can click here for photos from Bulgaria, here for photos from around the world, here for outdoor pictures, here for other kind of photography and here for the travel articles, essays and some poetry.
If you want to get in touch, drop me a line here or write to emil.danailov@gmail.com.
